Restaurant Back-Office Support — Cashiering & Stock Taking
Handled front-of-house cashiering alongside regular back – office stock-taking duties at a restaurant, combining two very different responsibilities that both demanded precision under time pressure.
On the cashiering side, this meant accurately processing transactions, reconciling the register against daily sales totals, and resolving any discrepancies before end-of-day close-out. On the stock-taking side, it meant regularly counting and logging inventory, cross-checking against expected usage, and flagging shortages or discrepancies early – before they became a bigger operational problem.
Doing both roles in the same environment built a practical, hands-on understanding of how front-end accuracy (cash handling) and back-end accuracy (inventory) depend on each other to keep a business’s numbers honest – a mindset that now carries directly into how Vensoria Global Assist approaches BPO and back-office engagements for clients.
